Greyhound had a special: $99, 99 Days. You could go anywhere you want in the U.S. I got on the bus in Hollywood, went to the downtown bus station and transferred to another bus and didn´t get off for three days and nights. UGGH. My trip took me to Washington, D.C., Camden, New Jersey to stay with Elkie, to New York City to see the sites .. accompanied by Gil Zarris, then to New Haven, Connecticut to see Masha, Alec, Tommy, and Mitch Odinak.
