To the Blooms, the Wisotskys, the Pellicoffs, the Rubins, the Davises, the Schaeffers, the Zarrises (not necessarily in that order, and definitely not necessarily in order of good looking) and to all the rest of our extended family, whether you may be in California, New York, New Jersey, North Carolina, Mexico, France, Ecuador, or other far reaches... please allow me to give you a great big Archival Photo Hello.
This collection begins with Nezjin in 1880 and expands to Tennessee in 1910, Atlantic City in 1920, Chicago and East Los Angeles in 1930, Australia in 1940, Hollywood in 1950, Los Angeles in 1960, New Jersey in 1970... and in several locales and decades since.
Ultimately, this archive will contain perhaps another 9,000 photos or more; so this is just the beginning of what we hope will be a pleasant jaunt down a familial memory lane - one which may be passed down and made available for the generations beyond.
What you are looking at is a work which will always be in progress, as the collection will undoubtedly expand to include all the additions we want it to. While this collection starts with only raw data, it will be improved upon over time to include extensive searchable metadata, such that its images may be enjoyed simply by focusing on the people, locations, and dates of which you are most interested.
