Description
On July 4, 1910, the state of Tennessee according LA Bloom the right to practice law. It is unknown if he had to take a bar exam, was sponsored by someone in the state, or was eligible by virtue of having graduating from University of Chattanooga the previous month. It is noteworthy that he was 23 at the time and had arrived in the U.S. in 1903, just 7 years before, at which time he didn´t even speak English. On the back is a crayon drawing, perhaps done by one of the grandchildren?
