Hi and Betty got married February 12, 1950 and they didn´t have much money. They left Dennie with Betty´s sister, Marcia, and drove to San Francisco. Here is a copy of the "Guide to San Francisco" that they saved from that honeymoon trip.
The guide explains that the Oakland Seals (minor league baseball team) could be seen, along with some basketball in Kezar Stadium (which is in Golden Gate Park), you could arrange for a flight on Pan Am and TWA airlines, and get a steak at Bob´s on Geary and Mason.
