<text>Betty B was married at 18, a mom at 19, and a widow at 21, when her husband Bob Belsky died of Leukemia in 1948. Dennie was 3 years old.
Betty met and married Bob while in Detroit on September 4, 1944. Judging from their letters their relationship was very special.
Soon after Dennie was born, Betty followed her sister Marcia with her first flight, and Bob followed by car. This Collection documents that relationship.</text>
